Just a quick update and
reminder to get you
thinking about how much
you miss visiting
DeAnza.
Can you believe it, it
seems as if the Labor
Day weekend was just a
few weeks ago and here
it is Thanksgiving
already. What's next
Christmas?
If you plan on attending
our world famous
Thanksgiving Potluck,
make sure you notify the
office asap so we can
plan on how many turkeys
to cook. The
festivities will start
at 2ish on Thursday
11/27. That's our
normal Wii night so plan
on staying here to join
the fun.
Did I mention that Papa
Dave has taken over for
Cowboy Cody as our DJ
and Karaoke host. He
brings with him
thousands of new songs
for your singing and
dancing enjoyment.
Black Tie and Pearls,
our formal (at least for
awhile) dinner and dance
is Saturday 11/29 with
music by Double Play,
one of our favorite
bands.
The remodeling of the
fitness center is almost
complete. The drywall
should go up next week
and the new tanning bed,
fitness equipment etc.
are already here and
waiting for completion.
The weather has been
beautiful with just a
couple of exceptions and
we are expecting a mild
winter as the leaves are
just starting to turn.
That's well over a month
later than normal.
As we are always
striving for
improvement, let us know
if there is anything we
can do to improve the
service or selection of
food in the Cactus
Flower Cafe.
